Its been a fairly mixed bag weather wise so far over the Bank Holiday weekend. I spent Saturday and Sunday in the Lake District with Ben and Mike covering essential self rescue skills. Having visited Langdale and Shepherds Crag (see photo) we experienced some heavy showers giving way to a fine afternoon today. Many teams were out enjoying the classic routes at Shepherds. In the Peak District the weather has been some what better, with plenty of folk out on the grit. One team from Manchester climbed all the Stanage VS's in just over 10 hours; any takers?..
